i started reading this, this book, An Introduction to Africana Philosophy, and...in the first pages i've read, including the preface this question popped at me:
Do blacks have an identity?
it's a broad term, and i'm not yet sure whether i'm basing it on being south african, or being african. in the book, the writer, talks about how we only knew we're african after colonization. what was there before white man?
i hope i'll have a better understanding of this question, and an answer for it by the time i finish reading.

Knot Ring
A “knot” ring.
The ring symbolizes a knot that is not quite tied yet, but has all intentions of being tied. A promise ring.
